Hello and welcome back to the Cambrensis blog.
With big things on the horizon, we’ll be filling you in on all the details for our upcoming pop-ups, including some major announcements about the future of our brand and exciting new opportunities.
On Saturday the 25th of April, Cambrensis will be heading to ‘On the River’ in Riverside, Cardiff, for a pop-up shop and a chance for followers of the brand, as well as new customers, to connect over food, drinks, and a live DJ set by our friend Dave Jones (AKA Spacelab). The venue is an open and relaxed space, with a terrace bar providing stunning views of the River Taff and the Principality Stadium in the centre of town.
Some of our readers may notice that this event lines up with the last home game of Cardiff City’s League One season, a 3 o’clock kick-off against Northampton Town. With the Bluebirds pushing for promotion, and possibly having secured it by then, we hope not only to showcase our brand but also to celebrate the success of a Welsh club that is dear to so many people across South Wales and beyond.
The pop-up will run from 10am until 8pm, with food and drink served throughout, leaving plenty of time for match-attending Cardiff fans to make their way down and join us after the game. We’re looking forward to a special evening and, hopefully, celebrating a big moment for the club. We hope to see as many of you there as possible.

Our next announcement is one of our biggest yet. Those of you who follow our social media pages may already be aware: Cambrensis is partnering with John Lewis to bring you a five-day pop-up shop in the menswear section of John Lewis Cardiff.
The pop-up will run from Wednesday the 29th of April until Sunday the 3rd of May. This represents a huge step for us as a brand, working with a retail giant such as John Lewis, and we are delighted to be able to display our garments on such a large platform, alongside renowned fashion labels such as Barbour and Ralph Lauren.

We will mainly be showcasing our ‘Genoa’ range in partnership with ‘Magnetic’, following the recent success of our exhibition during London Fashion Week. However, garments from across all our collections, including the recently restocked ‘Merthyr’ and ‘Y Barri’ lines, will also be available to purchase on site, along with copies of the fantastic ‘Magnetic’ book; an in depth anthology on early Italian menswear and a key source of inspiration for the collaboration. To learn more about this collaboration please feel free to give our ‘Genoa’ fashion film a watch here: https://cambrensis.co.uk/collections/genoa
