Hi everyone, and welcome back to the Cambrensis blog.

After another busy couple of weeks, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who has watched and enjoyed our brand-new 'Genoa' fashion film. The response has been overwhelming, and we’ve been incredibly appreciative of all the messages and support we’ve received since its release.

When creating this film, we knew how important it was not only to produce something visually engaging for a wider audience, but also to ensure it felt authentic and relatable as a love-letter to the people and culture of Merthyr and other Valleys towns. Capturing that sense of place and identity was vital for our project.

A huge thank you goes to the owners and staff at Viazzanni's Café for allowing us to use their space. The location was vital to the authenticity of the film, in which we wanted to highlight the unique Italian cafe culture, and we couldn’t have imagined a better setting to showcase the deep Italian-Welsh connection present in Wales.

Of course, this message of thanks would not be complete without mentioning our narrator, Donna Edwards. Her voice and storytelling truly brought everything together, and we are so pleased to have had her involved in this project. If you have not watched our short film yet, please feel free to follow this link and check out our latest project, 'Genoa' Fashion Film

In other news, we would also like to thank Sean at Unit 17 Menswear for working with us, to host our latest pop-up shop this past Saturday. This has been in the works for some time, and we were delighted to have the opportunity to showcase our brand in a space with such a dedicated and distinctive customer base, one that values quality garments and contemporary design as much as we do.

Overall, it was a fantastic day for our brand. We had the opportunity to meet so many new people from near and far who showed genuine interest in what we do. Seeing new faces at each of our events, whether they’ve discovered us through social media, our films, or through word of mouth, is incredibly rewarding and something we can only deem a very positive sign for the future.

Looking ahead in the Cambrensis schedule, we’re excited about many events we have currently in the works, including social gatherings, more pop-up shops, and some upcoming collaborations, so please stay in the loop, you don’t want to miss our next steps.

Diolch yn fawr - thanks for reading the Cambrensis blog.
